Summer storms may cause damage to South Texas homes

The South Texas and Gulf Coast regions of Texas may be facing serious storm damage this summer. According to a recent study by a California-based company. many homes in the metropolitan regions of this area are at risk of “hurricane-driven, storm surge damage.”
This means that nearly 347,633 homes could be hit by storms that are at least a Category 4 or 5. In the report, areas that are highlighted are located throughout the U.S. in regions that are usually susceptible to tropical storms or hurricane. Beyond the South Texas region, 4 million homes may be at risk of storm damage.
