The state is suing Petroleum Wholesale LP, Sun Development LP and other companies that are associated, after they were accused of defrauding 143 stations.
The Attorney General’s Office asked for civil and permanent injunctions against the company for violating the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
The state claims that the company was putting regular gasoline into fuel that was labeled as Premium/Super or Midgrade/Plus. By doing this, the company defrauded customers and violated the law.
