A residential property in eastern Travis County was severely damaged after a 2-alarm fire broke out in a house, an article of kxan.com reported on October 11.

Reports revealed that fire crews responded to the 7500 block of Nez Perce Trace after receiving notification of a house fire started before 2:00 p.m. Officials from Travis County declared the fire 2-alarm after 10 minutes of fighting it, but they put out the fire after an hour and a half. Though no one suffered injuries because no one was home during the fire, reports confirmed that the fire caused severe damage to the house. Details on what caused the fire were not yet available as of reporting.
