Two-alarm fire damages west Houston townhomes

At least three people were hurt and several townhome units damaged after a two-alarm fire broke out in west Houston on Nov. 19, chron.com reported.

Houston Fire Department District Chief Stephen Cichon stated that a fire broke out in a townhouse on Ella Lee near Winrock at around 3:00 a.m. The fire quickly spread to nearby townhomes and three residents reportedly suffered minor injuries as they escaped the flames. Fire crews spent more than an hour in containing the fire. The fire reportedly burned four townhome units and another unit was damaged by water. Two vehicles parked in the area were also damaged by fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
