Family unharmed in Atascocita house fire

A family of three in Atascocita, Texas remained unharmed on September 28 after a fire broke out in their home, an article from click2houston.com reported.
According to reports, at around 3:00 a.m. the Atascocita fire crews responded to a fire that broke out at the 8700 block of Pines Place. A woman residing in the house, whose name was not revealed, stated that at around 2:30 a.m. she barged into her son’s room and took him out after detecting smoke. The woman also called for her husband’s attention and they all escaped from their burning house uninjured. Responding fire crews swiftly contained the fire from spreading. Aside from their damaged belongings, their pet dog and cat were unable to get out of the burning house.
