60 apartment units in Houston ravaged by fire

A huge residential fire in Northwest Houston caused damage to 60 apartment units and injured three firefighters, an article from chron.com reported.
Reports said at around 5:30 p.m. on July 28, a fire broke out at the Gentry Houston Apartment complex on 9001 Kempwood. Though crews from Houston Fire reached the burning complex quickly, the fire soon spread due to strong winds. The 120 responding firefighters took almost two hours to contain the fire. Though no residents were reportedly injured, authorities confirmed that three firefighters sought medical treatment from battling the fire. Authorities stated that they are investigating the fire and they will coordinate with the Red Cross to provide temporary shelter for affected residents.
