Residents in Fort Worth have been concerned that the heavy rainfall will continue to increase the water level in the area and threaten their homes with flooding, NBC DFW reported on April 14.
A resident who video documented the worsening flooding in the neighborhood stated that after minutes of heavy rains, many of the streets became instant rivers. According to Teri Kramer, the heavy rain that started on April 13 flooded many houses, entering basements and knocking down fences. The flooding in the Arlington Heights area reportedly started last June and continued to get worst in September. The community set up a Facebook page where they can post their written and visual documentation of the flooding, so the city is aware of the damages caused by flood.
