One injured in Texas house explosion

One man recently suffered burn injuries in an explosion in Boerne that leveled a house and damaged two others, an article on News Channel 4 reported February 10.

Police at around 12:00 noon were notified of a residential fire that took place inside a subdivision in the eastern part of Boerne. A witness  said that the explosion was so powerful that it blew off the roof of the house. According to officials, the injured homeowner was pulled from the rubble by a neighbor. The man sustained burns to over 80 percent of his body. The impact of the explosion also caused damage to at least two nearby houses.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of the explosion.
