One injured in Texarkana residential fire

At least one person was injured after a fire broke out in a residential area in Texarkana on Wednesday, March 19, KSLA News 12 reported.

According to reports, the fire started at around 7:00 a.m. in a house located at 2600 block McIntyre Street. Fire and smoke were already coming out of the house when fire crews arrived in the area. Though there were several people inside the house when the fire broke out, only one woman was reportedly injured, and she was rushed to the hospital, authorities said. Investigators are trying to identify the origin of the fire.
