$26 million in aid received by Texas wildfire victims

The wildfires that ripped through Central Texas left a vast amount of people looking for help to rebuild their homes and lives. There has currently been $26 million given to Texas wildfire victims.
Roughly $11.8 million was awarded to FEMA grants that will aid individuals with rebuilding homes, renting properties and obtaining personal items. A fund was also set up for individuals who lost their jobs due to the wildfires. As of now $43,000 has gone towards those victims who are currently out of a job.
Since the beginning of the disastrous fires, over 3,900 wildfire victims have sought out FEMA for help and assistance stemming from the destruction of the fires.
