Central Texas oil rig fire may take one week to extinguish

In the town of Milano, Texas an oil rig fire has exploded. The fire started Sunday morning and four different fire departments have reported to the site to put out the flames.

It has been estimated that it will take a week for the fire to be completely extinguished. The damage to the Central Texas oil rig could cost several million dollars. At the time of the explosion there were 11 workers on site, but no injuries were reported.

As of now there is no threat of the fire spreading to the surrounding areas. Milano is located 60 miles northeast of Austin, Texas.
