A West Virginia man recently filed suit against Nationwide Insurance Co. accusing the insurance provider of bad faith and breach of contract.

According to the lawsuit, the man was the victim of a motorcycle accident in July 2010.  As a result of the accident, the man suffered several permanent, serious injuries.  In addition, the accident caused the man to suffer a loss of income, pain, suffering, and emotional distress.

The man says that Nationwide has failed to make a timely and reasonable settlement on how much he should be paid.  Consequently, the insurer is accused of failing to fulfill their obligations as the man’s insurance provider.
